Manitoba’s Consumer Protection Office licenses direct sellers, including home-improvement sellers, and uses roof shingling as an example. A buyer has 10 days after signing a direct sales contract to cancel, not counting the day they sign.
Manitoba’s fall protection rules apply wherever a worker could fall 3 m or more, or less where the landing raises the risk of injury. Construction is a mandatory industry for WCB Manitoba coverage.
